Sick Leave
We all look forward to time away from work, but sometimes we need time off for less-than-fun reasons, like sickness. Because ensuring your health and happiness is one of our main goals, we want you to have the flexibility to take care of yourself—or a family member—when illness strikes. You can also take time off to bond with a new addition to your family.
Full-time salaried employees accrue sick days as part of our Paid Sick Leave policy, which covers the following:
- Sick days for your own sickness, serious health condition, disability, or injury
- Sick days to care for an ill or injured family member
- Maternity or parental leave (including new-child bonding)
- Absences under leave policies, such as FMLA
You earn one hour of sick pay for every 30 hours worked, with a cap of 72 hours. Go to Workday to record your sick leave and view your bank of sick leave days. See the employee handbook for more details.
