Virtual Care

The next time you or a family member comes down with a minor illness, virtual healthcare is available through your medical plan to save you money, time, and a trip to the doctor’s office.

UnitedHealthcare

If you’re enrolled in a UnitedHealthcare medical plan, you have access to Virtual Visits. With a Virtual Visit, you can see and talk to a doctor via mobile device or computer—24/7, no appointment needed. The doctor can give you a diagnosis and, if needed, a prescription.* And with a UnitedHealthcare plan, your cost is $50 or less.

In 20 minutes or less, you can connect with a doctor to get help with these minor medical needs:

  • Bladder infection or urinary tract infection
  • Bronchitis
  • Cold or flu
  • Fever
  • Pinkeye
  • Rash
  • Sinus problems
  • Sore throat
  • Stomachache

To get started, visit the Virtual Visits website. You’ll need your medical plan ID card, a credit card, and a pharmacy location to register.

* Prescription services may not be available in all states.

Kaiser

If you’re a Kaiser member, you have access to Video Visits. All you need is a computer with a high-speed internet connection and a webcam, or a smartphone mobile device (iOS iPhone or iPad or Android mobile device) with the latest version of the KP Preventive Care app. With Video Visits, you have the convenience and ease of consulting with a doctor from your home or office. It’s a great way to save time and money when you’re dealing with a minor medical need.
